NOISE POLICY
Noise is any sound, human or otherwise, which is disturbing to a resident.
In an effort to reduce the amount of noise in the residence halls, specific
Minimum Quiet Hours are established as follows:
Sunday - Thursday 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM Friday - Saturday11:00 PM - 8:00AM
During TEST weeks 24 hours a day
No loud or disruptive noise is to be heard outside rooms during these quiet
hours. All other hours are "courtesy hours", during which time a reasonable
amount of quiet is expected for residents to sleep and study.
VISITOR POLICY
A visitor is a student or non-student from on or off-campus residence hall.
Our TC resident's visitor must be accompany by the TC resident at all time.
Visitor may not use facilities of Common Area, such as TV room or kitchen.
The premises are to occupied by no other than a person named as a Student in the
Housing Agreement and shall be used only as his or hers private residence.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Telegraph Commons' policy on the use of alcohol is in accordance with California
State Law. Briefly, they are as follows:
a. Selling, furnishing, or giving of any alcoholic beverage to a person under
the age of 21, or an obviously intoxicated person, prohibited. California
Business & Professions Codes #25658 and #25602
b. No person under the age 21 is allowed to possess alcoholic beverages in any
public place or any place open to public view. California Business & Professions
Code #25662
ALCOHOL NOT PERMITTED IN COMMON AREA
Use of alcohol in the Common Area is not permitted.
NOT PERMITTED APPLIANCES
Food related appliances such to as hot plates, waffle irons, broilers etc., are
not permitted.
NO SMOKING POLICY
No smoking is permitted in Telegraph Commons. Telegraph Commons is committed to
provide a healthy Smoke-Free environment for residents.
MULTIPLE INTERNET OUTLETS IN ALL ROOMS
Free internet services to our residents.
(TC reserve rights to charge services fees)
ROOMMATE ASSIGNMENT
Assignment of roommate based on student's age. The size of our rooms & amenities
of Single, Double and Triple are not identical, some rooms are superior than
others. Room assignment is subject to time of the confirmation of Leasing
Agreement and availability.
ROOM ASSIGNMENT
In the event, request of Single, or larger rooms are not available, students
will be assigned to a triple or small double, room rates will be adjusted
accordingly.
NO SUB-LEASE POLICY
No Sub-Lease or assignments of any kind by our residents at Telegraph Commons.
SECURITY DEPOSITS
Security Deposits will be refunded to the students after check-out & keys
returned to our office.
